Landscape of Mothers WorkbookThis is a 19 page workbook that walks you through each of the eight Landscape Mothers; Sun and Moon Mother, Wind Mother, Desert Mother, Island Mother, Mountain Mother, River Mother, Forest Mother, and Ocean Mother.
You will get to know each of their strengths and struggles and how they show up in your parenting. Through embodiment practices and reflection prompts you'll get a felt sense of where you are in the realm of each Mother and how she can help you. This is not a "how to" guide to parenting, but more of a reflective process of knowing the landscape of mothering and what you want and need in each realm. This was such a great conversation I had with Elyse Snipes of the Trailercast Podcast! We had a lovely conversation about using archetypes to find our way through life and parenting. Specifically we covered Landscape of Mothers archetypes as a wheel, how that can help us find where we are and where we want to go. And... I even drop some info about the next layer of working with Landscape of Mothers... the triads (that will be in the next book!). Special story cameos include Wind Mother, Mountain Mother, and River Mother. We explore how the archetypes are related to one another in this map, and why that can help us when we're overwhelmed or struggling in our daily lives. Thank you Elyse! When life feels like too much we tend to be more sensitive to stressors, and tension can build up in the body. Nature can be a restorative connection.
